Job descriptionMaintains records for health and dental records and accounting for same. Maintains records for State Pension. Maintains records for COBRA. Maintains records and process billing for retiree benefits. Maintains salary guides and provides necessary information for budgeting and negotiations. Prepares amounts to be deposited to the bank, credit union, taxes and tax shelters. Processes and transmits all information for payroll reporting via EFT reporting. Prepares and processes all federal, state, and pension quarterly reports. Maintains agency accounts. Processes unemployment claims information. Processes retirement request information. Maintains Worker's Compensation files and prepares reports for OSHA. All applications must be submitted on Applitrack for consideration.

The Payroll Manager develops and heads all tasks required to successfully deliver Hillside School District's payroll process objectives, including benefits and compensation, cultivating relationships with employees, auditors, state and federal agencies and maintaining district records. Qualifications :
- Two years college or business school preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Knowledge in payroll operations
- Familiarity with computer systems and payroll / personnel software
