Position Overview

Search Miners is looking for a creative and versatile

Web and Graphic Designer

to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visually compelling and user-friendly websites, landing pages, and graphics that align with SEO and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, experience with website design and graphic creation, and the ability to work closely with the SEO and development teams to create seamless online experiences.

This is a remote position, but candidates must be available to work during PST hours.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design :

Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites and landing pages that align with SEO best practices and the needs of the business.

Graphic Design :

Create graphics for websites, social media, email marketing, and other digital assets that enhance the overall brand image and user experience.

Collaboration :

Work closely with the SEO, marketing, and development teams to ensure that design elements are optimized for both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Responsive Design :

Ensure all websites and landing pages are mobile-friendly and fully responsive across various devices and screen sizes.

Brand Consistency :

Maintain brand consistency across all design projects, ensuring that all graphics, websites, and other materials reflect the company’s branding guidelines.

Design Optimization :

Work with the development team to ensure designs are optimized for fast load times, smooth user experience, and SEO.

Content Updates :

Implement content and design updates to existing websites as needed, keeping them fresh, visually appealing, and aligned with current marketing strategies.

Client Requests :

Follow client specifications and project requirements to produce designs that meet or exceed expectations.

Continuous Learning :

Stay up to date with the latest design trends, web technologies, and industry standards to continuously improve design output.

Qualifications

Experience :

2+ years of experience in web and graphic design, ideally within a digital marketing or SEO-focused environment.

Design Skills :

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, and other design tools.

Web Design :

Experience designing websites, landing pages, and digital content, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, and the design principles behind user-friendly, responsive layouts.

SEO Awareness :

Basic understanding of SEO principles and how design decisions can impact search engine rankings and website performance.

Attention to Detail :

A keen eye for design details, ensuring that all visuals are high quality and consistent with brand guidelines.

Collaboration :

Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including SEO specialists, content creators, and developers, to ensure design and technical requirements align.

Time Management :

Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Remote Work :

Comfortable working remotely and able to follow a structured work schedule within PST hours.

Bonus Skills

Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms, especially in terms of theme customization and page design.

Experience designing for conversion optimization and understanding the role of design in user experience and sales funnels.

Familiarity with animation tools or video editing software for creating dynamic content for websites or social media.

Knowledge of web accessibility principles (WCAG standards).
