Job descriptionMaintain & Improve : Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on ammonia refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot & Diagnose : Quickly identify and resolve system malfunctions. Safety First : Ensure strict adherence to all ammonia safety regulations and protocols. Install & Commission : Successfully install, test, and commission new ammonia systems. Teamwork : Collaborate with contractors and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years of hands-on experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems (food industry preferred). Relevant industry certifications (EPA, etc.) a strong plus. Strong understanding of ammonia safety regulations and best practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
