• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts on 2E overflow unit
• 40-hour orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 5 : 1 during days and nights
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical surgical diagnoses
• 24-bed unit with daily census of 24 patients
• Charge coverage responsibilities may be required based on operational needs with provided training
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Weekend coverage required
• Floating is 100% required - may float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications : BLS, NIHSS
• Must be proficient in Cerner charting system
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions only)
• Complete 4-6 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma experience preferred
