PCU RN Travel Job Details Location : Augusta, Georgia 30901 (Georgia nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Resource Float Pool - PCU Contract Duration : 12 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 - End : 2 / 2 / 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay : $1570 - $1610 Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract) Floating : Required to Medical-Surgical (MS), MS / Telemetry, and PCU units Charting System : Epic (Required) Scrub Color : Navy Blue PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (PCU, Medical-Surgical, or MS Telemetry preferred) Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission) Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Proficiency with Epic healthcare charting system Ability to float to multiple hospital units (PCU, Med-Surg, Telemetry) Strong clinical skills in cardiac telemetry, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Compliance with facility onboarding and orientation (full compliance required to start on time) Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Two supervisory references highly preferred PCU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across PCU, Medical-Surgical, and MS / Telemetry units Manage patient ratios : 1 : 4-5 in PCU, 1 : 5-6 in MS / MS Telemetry Float between units as assigned to support hospital staffing needs Utilize Epic for accurate healthcare documentation and patient management Administer medications, manage cardiac and vasoactive drips, and perform specialized procedures (arterial line, central line, chest tubes, tracheostomy care) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response Participate in orientation and complete required training modules Work assigned holidays as per contract policy Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Augusta, Georgia, and make a difference in patient care while expanding your clinical skills.
