Security Guard

The Security Guard is responsible for securing the premises, preventing access by unauthorized individuals, directing customers, responding to security alarms, and maintaining security logs and incident reports.

This is a full-time position requiring open availability, including weekends and holidays. The anticipated work schedule is as follows : Saturday, Sunday, Monday : 1 : 00 PM 9 : 30 PM, and Tuesday & Wednesday : 3 : 00 PM 8 : 30 PM.

$15.00 per hour, paid weekly. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Coverage includes both the George Bush Intercontinental Airport area and the Beltway 8 / 1-45 corridor.

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Must have a Valid State issued Driver's License.

Must have a Valid Texas Non-commission Security License.

Prior experience in customer service and / or security.

No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

No experience required and on the job training provided.

One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities include monitoring and securing assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access or activities, responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with company protocols, directing and assisting customers, visitors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner, conducting regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety and compliance with security procedures, writing detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate security logs, collaborating with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, enforcing site rules and regulations while maintaining a visible and professional presence, and performing other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or security manager.
