Facilities Operations Engineer

Location : Rancho Cordova, CA

Hourly Rate : $24.64

A day in the life

You arrive on site ready to keep a multi-unit facility running safely and efficiently. You review the preventive maintenance plan you helped build, make your early rounds on critical building systems, and knock out scheduled tasks. When a work order or emergency call comes in, you respond with urgency and professionalism—troubleshooting HVAC / R, tracking down an electrical fault, or performing a quick repair that keeps operations on track.

Your schedule flexes across AM / PM shifts, weekends, and holidays, so the building is covered whenever it’s needed. Throughout the day, you document work, communicate with customers and teammates, and leave each space better than you found it.

• Assist with operation, repair, and upkeep of building systems and equipment
• Maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient facility environment
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with speed and professionalism
• Support coverage across flexible shifts, including AM / PM, weekends, and holidays
