How You Will Contribute to our Team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhanced accuracy and efficiency to all purchasing processes.
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships with assigned suppliers while issuing purchase orders, researching order status, resolving mis-shipments, and attending trade shows / vendor visits.
  • Review supplier performance on a regular cadence to make recommendations regarding the areas of strength and opportunity in our supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care and Sales to provide accurate and current product information.
  • Resolve purchase order discrepancies identified during the receiving process in partnership with Warehouse Operations.
  • Coordinate inventory management processes including on-hand inventory levels for stocked products, monthly inventory accuracy, obsolete inventory management, sales events, and supplier returns.
  • Participate in all educational opportunities related to current and upcoming supplier product offerings.
  • Support additional purchasing and / or operations activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years previous experience in purchasing / supply chain setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Material Management or relevant experience
  • Proven experience leading multiple projects and / or priorities, including the ability to initiate and lead a project with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel
  • Continuous improvement experience

    Hourly Range : $24.00-$28.50 negotiable based upon experience
