Project Manager - PLIV
Cherokee Federal is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility Air Force design and construction projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement across MILCON and SRM programs. You will act as a design / construction manager, guiding acquisition and execution through the full project lifecycle. We move fast, solve hard problems, and deliver with integrity.
Compensation & Benefits : Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager - PLIV : $110k- $115k Pay commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Project Manager - PLIV Responsibilities Include :
- Lead planning, design, and construction execution for Air Force projects across MILCON and SRM programs.
- Serve as owner's representative / design-construction manager, coordinating with Execution Agents, Air Force stakeholders, A / E firms, and contractors.
- Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk; drive disciplined change control.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, cost estimates, and earned value tracking.
- Oversee acquisition strategy, RFPs, source selection support, contract administration, and compliance.
- Ensure technical deliverables meet Air Force standards, UFCs, codes, and mission requirements.
- Facilitate design reviews, constructability assessments, and commissioning / turnover.
- Lead stakeholder communications; provide clear status reporting and decision-ready briefings.
- Proactively identify issues, develop mitigation plans, and resolve conflicts to protect the schedule and mission.
- Enforce QA / QC, safety, and environmental compliance; support audits and readiness reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices across projects and teams.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Project Manager - PLIV Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested :
Directly applicable technically related degree (e.g., construction management, civil engineering, architectural engineering) and 7+ years relevant experience.Construction management experience delivering complex facilities projects from concept through closeout.Experience and understanding of the Air Force design and construction process, including MILCON and SRM.Strong project controls background : scheduling (Primavera / MS Project), cost management, risk, and reporting.Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.Experience using NexGen ITExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and briefing skills.Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee FederalCompany Information : Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
