Baptist Medical Group in Oxford, MS seeking BE / BC Interventional Pulmonology Physicians

Facts about Baptist Pulmonary / Critical Care Group - Oxford, MS

  • No critical care all required - physician would perform procedures in hospital and see patients in clinic setting
  • Will perform navigational bronchoscopies with biopsy, thoracoscopy and EBUS

    • Group will open lung nodule clinic to follow up on these patients

  • 4 physicians currently - one is sleep certified
  • 1 NP to assist with hospital rounds - looking to add an additional one soon
  • 24 bed ICU, hospitalists in house 24 / 7
  • E ICU for overnight and weekend patient coverage
  • Work out of one hospital - Baptist North Mississippi - 217 beds

    • See patients from 12 surrounding counties

  • 10-year-old hospital, full spectrum of specialties, full time hospitalists in house
  • Very busy oncologists nearby with great need for lung nodule patient appointments
  • Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
