$26.21 - $27.88

What You'll Do

  • Model and drive the need for customer-focused team members while moving product to the next stage in the value stream process.
  • Apply lean principles to support the team and complete follow-up items from Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collect current and accurate information on the managing for daily improvement (MDI) board to drive completion of counter measures and communicate with team members.
  • Ensure team members have appropriate tools to effectively complete their job tasks.
  • Prioritize opportunities for current team member development and facilitate training of new team members. Ensure cross-training is in place for maximum coverage and support of processes. Train team members in safe work practices and enforce safety rules and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or HiSET.
  • One-year manufacturing related experience.
  • Ability to lead others in alignment with the Vermeer characteristics and behaviors.
  • Ability to perform problem solving techniques and implement counter measures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of performance measurements including safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory.
  • Understanding of lean principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and carry out appropriate action in multiple situations.
  • Understanding of equipment and machinery operation.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish, preferred.

  • Pushing and Pulling : Various weights and frequencies
  • RH / LH Grip and Pinch : Varying weights with frequency

    • Work Location

    ONSITE : A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
