PACU RN Job Details - Idaho Healthcare Jobs Location : Idaho Falls, ID 83404 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Healthcare Setting : PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), Level 2 Trauma Hospital Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM), on-call required (one night per week, one weekend every 4 weeks) Hours per Week : 36 hours plus on-call Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680 Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 Documentation System : Meditech Uniforms : Provided PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license 1 years of recent PACU nursing experience (1-3 years preferred) Experience in a Level 2 trauma hospital required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, and PALS (all required) Clinical skills : IV starts, drips, arterial lines, pain blocks Ability to work variable shifts and fulfill on-call requirements PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment Monitor and assess patient recovery after surgical procedures Initiate and manage IVs, drips, arterial lines, and pain blocks Document patient care using Meditech EMR system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to Day Surgery as needed Participate in on-call rotation (one night per week, one weekend every 4 weeks) Provide compassionate nursing care while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction Apply now to join our healthcare team in Idaho Falls and take the next step in your PACU nursing career!
