Maintenance & Facilities Section Supervisor
Corning Incorporated is looking for a highly skilled Maintenance and Facility leader to oversee our facilities / maintenance operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our physical environments are safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity. You will be responsible for leading multiple teams dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our facility's infrastructure, while maintaining production assets running in a 24 / 7 operation, while aligning with organizational goals and sustainability practices.
Continued development and implementation of facility / maintenance management strategies that align with the overall business objectives of Corning Incorporated
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operations of facilities, production and grounds ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
Management of vender relationships and negotiate contracts for services such as lawn mowing, fleet repairs, roofing contractors, etc.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of assets and buildings to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal functionality
Lead and mentor a team of facility management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Develop and manage all facilities budgets, both expense and capital while maintaining five-year plans for capital improvements
Implement sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs to reduce environmental impacts
Required :
Bachelors degree with 10+ years of experience in maintenance / facilities management or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project management
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred :
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Professional Engineer (PE)
Technical Skills :
Proficient in facilities management software and tools o CMMS Maximo
Strong understanding of building automation systems and energy management o Trane Tracer o Siemens Desigo o SimplexGrinnell
Experience with project management methodologies and tools o Planview Portfolio o Miro
Strong understanding of Predictive & Condition based maintenance o Conceptual o Hardware applications o Cost saving / avoidance discipline
Soft Skills :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to facility / manufacturing challenges
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independent initiative

The range for this position is $123,251.00 - $169,471.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
