A well established hospital located near Jacksonville, Florida   is seeking full-time

Medical Laboratory Technicians   to join their team!

The Medical Laboratory Technician Job Opportunity :

  • Full-time, direct hire position
  • Day or Night shift available, 10- or 12- hour shifts
  • Great laboratory leadership and administration team!
  • The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a wide range of medical laboratory procedures requiring technical knowledge and skill, at the request of authorized, licensed providers. Operates laboratory analyzers to provide critical data for use in the treatment and diagnosis of disease. Makes independent judgement decisions in the reporting of normal and abnormal test results. Performs and analyzes quality control data. Instructs and mentors fellow employees. Interacts with nursing and health care practitioners.

The Medical Laboratory Technician Minimum Qualifications :

  • Must have an Associate's degree of higher from an accredited program
  • Must have ASCP, AMT, or AAB Certification
  • Must have Florida License
  • Must have previous clinical laboratory experience
  • Must have previous blood banking experience
