Job description
A company is looking for a Sr. Portfolio Data Engineer to join their Data Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Write code and design pipeline architecture for data ingestion and analysis
Build and enhance pipelines to improve data throughput and accuracy
Collaborate with data analysts to align financial concepts with internal data models
Required Qualifications
Prior Data Engineering experience, preferably in Financial Services
A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field
Experience with object-oriented programming and familiarity with technologies like Python, Apache Spark, and SQL
Understanding of data structures and algorithms
Interest in data modeling, visualization, and ETL pipelines
