Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU

Requirements :

Active and in good standing TN RN license or active Compact RN license

Minimum 2+ years PCU experience

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must Haves : Positive attitude

Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Advanced Skills Needed :

TR band care

Advanced pulmonary treatments

Medication titration

Hospital Specifics :

Trauma Level III facility

Requested Skill Set : Post-cath care including TR band

Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 12

Patient Ratios : 4 : 1

Staffing : 1 tech for the unit

Equipment : GE monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense

Documentation System : Meditech

Scheduling : Every other weekend

Floating : In rotation with full-time staff and other travelers

Patient Experience Expectations : AIDET, completion of communication boards, medication teaching

Dress Code : Charcoal gray scrubs
