A CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer contributes to the success of Hartwig by working hand-in-hand with our Sales team to provide support and be a technical resource to ensure customer satisfaction. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on the Hartwig team to provide the best manufacturing solutions and support the machine tool industry. Position will be open for 45 days from original posting. Ideal candidate will live in the Denver, CO area.

The main responsibilities include :

• Evaluating manufacturing processes and recommending industry-leading solutions
• Developing and testing alternative processing methods
• Performing time studies for process improvement recommendations
• Overseeing machine installations
• Conducting research and assisting in presenting proposals to customers
• Performing on-site programming and machine operation training for customers
• Facilitating customer demonstrations by setting up and programming machine tools
