H / K / B Cosmetic Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a PRN PACU RN to join our upscale plastic surgery center in Huntersville, NC! Shifts will vary between the hours of 8 : 00 am - 8 : 00 pm.
A bit about the position :
Providing PACU coverage to 1-2 patients at a time; assisting with OR turnover, stocking supplies and daily perioperative tasks for surgical case preparation.
What you can expect in this role :
- Monitoring post-operative patients who are in the immediate phases of recovery from a surgical procedure through discharge.
- Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, perform dressing changes, administer necessary medications.
- Assess overall status and educate patients and their families about home care instructions.
- Proper EMR documentation.
