Job Description : We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CVOR Tech to join our team. The CVOR Tech will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals in the operating room during cardiovascular procedures. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. Key Responsibilities : - Prepare operating room for procedures by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes - Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during cardiovascular procedures - Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning and prepping - Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room - Handle and label surgical specimens for laboratory analysis - Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room - Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments after procedures - Document procedures and patient information accurately and efficiently - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols - Participate in on-call rotation as needed Qualifications : - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a CVOR Tech training program or equivalent experience - Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Tech - Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays - Must be able to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive and collaborative work environment.
