Job Description
As the Senior Director in OCI, you will provide leadership to multiple teams tasked with overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects within OCI. Your role will involve ensuring that the team's objectives are consistently aligned with the broader organizational goals, maintaining a strategic focus on long-term infrastructure stability and scalability. By fostering a high-performance culture, you will mentor and develop team members, creating an environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth. You will play a pivotal role in talent development, performance management, and building a culture of excellence that aligns with OCI’s values.
Responsibilities
Apply extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to current and future design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture. Lead by example in identifying and nurturing talent, setting measurable goals, and maintaining accountability across teams.
Qualifications
A BS or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record in managing large‑scale critical services.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization within a technology‑driven environment.
Exceptional decision‑making abilities, with experience influencing senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Strong background in recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors (ICs) and building high‑performing teams.
Ability to make decisions that significantly impact the organization’s infrastructure, with potential implications for revenue and long‑term operational success.
Experience in Networking and Cloud Infrastructure Operations.
Experience in managing a large‑scale critical service in a Cloud computing environment.
Expertise in Distributed Systems, Network Operating Systems, Network Orchestration and Controller.
Salary
US : Hiring Range in USD from : $141,200 - $338,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
