Job descriptionBoard Certified MD / DO with 5-7 years of clinical experience Experience in leadership roles and academic oncology centers Proven administrative and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and drive change Service Line Management : Strategic planning, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and market growth Clinical Management : Mentoring providers, clinical oversight, and policy development Research Program Development : Leading clinical research programs, identifying trials, and obtaining funding Service Line Development & Education : Providing educational opportunities and enhancing community outreach
The Senior Medical Director of Oncology / Hematology at Augusta Medical Group plays a pivotal role in establishing a vision of clinical excellence for the HemOnc service line. To include :
- Collaborating with stakeholders to set short and long-term goals for the service line
- Leading efforts to expand Oncology / Hematology services
- Developing innovative clinical research programs
- Ensuring alignment with Augusta Health's goals
- Building relationships with the community and promoting the service line
