The Role

The Veeva Nitro team is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to design and build our next-gen infrastructure on AWS. Lead the migration of our platform and create a new, scalable environment from scratch. You will have complete ownership over tooling and the CI / CD pipeline in a startup-like setting. This is a hands-on, self-starter role that balances performance, cost, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the architectural vision with deep expertise in cloud architecture, design patterns, and modern programming to build a scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• Drive DevOps best practices by implementing a robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy using Terraform and Ansible to manage, deploy, and scale infrastructure.
• Build the CI / CD pipeline by designing and managing end-to-end workflows, automating processes across Development, QA, Stage, and Production deployments.
• Ensure platform reliability focusing on durability, availability, performance, and correctness to minimize failures.
• Shape the future of the stack by recommending and implementing architectural enhancements, security policies, and new methodologies.
