Inventory Analyst
This position is located in Napoleon, Ohio and is a brownfield start up. The facility is a Dana Final Assembly plant for the Ford Bronco and Ranger products. The Inventory Analyst is responsible for verifying the accuracy of inventory locations by counting and auditing our inventory data and by proposing and helping to implement improvements to inventory processes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform timely inventory cycle counts to analyze and resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure inventory quantity and location accuracy
- Maintain relevant inventory information in SAP
- Resolve inventory variances (Negatives / Absolutes) within the warehouse
- Assist various parts of organization in locating materials
- Root Cause Analysis & Investigation into large variances
- Review and Audit sub inventory locations
- Prepare for Audit and walk Auditors through the cycle counting process
- Maintain cycle count data to reflect completed / non-completed counts
- Identify causes of inventory errors, help to develop and implement corrective actions that will correct conditions causing errors, achieve and maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping / receiving records.
- Transport Materials and inventory - Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, stand-up tugger, turret or other power equipment in accordance with FIFO policy
- Traces lost shipments and / or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents
- Other duties as assigned by Management
