Position Summary
The Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting both field operations and project management functions. This position works closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure smooth project administration, coordination, and documentation throughout all phases of construction.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced jobsite environment, with exposure to scheduling, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and technical documentation.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation workflows
- Assist with change management, including PCO tracking and change order support
- Coordinate subcontractor documentation and compliance requirements
- Maintain procurement logs and support material and equipment tracking
- Support project startup activities, including buyout and early coordination
- Assist the Superintendent with short-term planning and look-ahead schedules
- Participate in project meetings and coordination sessions
- Support jobsite operations by addressing day-to-day technical and administrative needs
- Manage project closeout activities, including punchlists, O&M manuals, warranties, and turnover documentation
- Assist in developing project-specific work plans and execution strategies

2–5 years of experience supporting construction projects across multiple phasesBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related disciplineStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communicator capable of working with diverse personalities and teamsCollaborative, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountabilityPreferred Experience
Exposure to sustainability programs such as LEED, SWPPP, or QSPWorking knowledge of industry-standard tools including Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Navisworks, Primavera, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and ViewpointCompensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $115,000 , depending on experience, education, and qualifications. Additional compensation may include bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package, which can impact total earnings. Compensation ranges are subject to adjustment based on business needs and market conditions.
