Accounting Manager $85,000-$95,000

Hybrid / Office is at 765 East Route 70 Building A Marlton, NJ

MUST have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MUST have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, monthly closing processes, and financial statement preparation. Must have a relevant healthcare experience. MUST have a direct experience with general ledger systems, financial statement preparation, and working with independent accounting / auditing firms.

Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer

Position Summary :

Responsible for the oversight of the accounting and financial reporting for all CFG entities. The position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Position Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred but not required. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, monthly closing processes, and financial statement preparation. Must have relevant healthcare experience, direct experience with general ledger systems, financial statement preparation, and working with independent accounting / auditing firms. Staff supervision preferred but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the accurate and timely monthly processing of all accounting activities in order to meet scheduled monthly financial reporting deadlines.
  • Ensure the accuracy of monthly financial statements, management reports, and budget variance reports.
  • Ensure the integrity of all financial data in the general ledger. This includes preparation and review of all material journal entries prepared by the accounting staff, as well as all automated interfaces to the general ledger from various sub-systems (e.g., payroll, revenue, accounts payable, fixed assets).
  • Participate in the preparation of various forms of financial analyses for all CFG operating entities.
  • Serve as liaison to operating leaders to investigate problems and questions relating to all areas of financial operations and financial performance.
  • Work closely with Revenue Cycle team to ensure accounts receivable valuation and revenue recognition processes are functioning effectively.
  • Prepare executive-level financial analyses, as requested by Make recommendations and presentations accordingly.
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual CFG operating budget
  • Assist independent accounting firm in the preparation of all tax returns and oversee the provision of related information. Assist in the preparation of certified financial statements and workpapers, account analyses, and other supporting schedules and documentation for year-end audit; directly handle requests from external auditors.
