Pay Information $2,459 per week About The Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Pediatric Dialysis Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum Years of Experience : 2 License : Valid State License required at the time of assignment. Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : 2 years of dialysis experience Pediatric experience preferred, but not required Hemodialysis experience required Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred No background or license issues Description : This is a pediatric dialysis nursing position. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of dialysis experience. Pediatric experience is preferred but not strictly necessary. Nurses will work three 12-hour shifts per week. There is a requirement for a minimum of 5 overnight on-call shifts per month. 1 to 2 of those will be weekend on-call shifts that last 24 hours. Nurses must also cover 1 to 2 Saturday morning shifts per month for patients needing extra treatment. All candidates must possess hemodialysis experience. Experience in peritoneal dialysis is preferred. No background or license hits will be accepted. Missed shifts due to call-outs must be made up during the contract term. Extra days will be added to accommodate missed shifts. Clinical modules are mandatory and must be completed within the first week of the assignment. Compliance with all health and safety protocols is expected. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is typically required. A strong emphasis is placed on infection control and patient safety.
