Overview

The Vice President, Nursing, will engage in activities to enable excellence in the areas of clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience, and engagement at UPH-DM. Under the direction of the Market Chief Nursing Officer, the Vice President, Nursing will ensure that nursing operational performance and clinical quality are consistent with the strategic goals of the UnityPoint Health nursing enterprise. Additional responsibilities of the Vice President, Nursing include service line oversight as assigned; creation, development, and implementation of projects / programs; and support of professional practice and collaboration among health care providers, employees and community leaders.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education : BSN required. MSN, MBA, or health related master's degree required

Experience : Five years leadership experience at the Director level or above. Knowledge of healthcare governance, administration, and delivery of healthcare services.

License(s) / Certification(s) : Valid State of Iowa RN License required. Certification in nursing administration required or commitment to complete certification within one year.
