Pay Rate : $17–$21 / hr

Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative plays a critical role as the face of the organization for patients visiting diagnostic service centers. This position involves performing high-quality blood collection , specimen processing, and maintaining a professional and safe environment. The PSR I provides compassionate, efficient service while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in every patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection following established protocols.

Maintain a safe and professional work environment for patients and staff.

Accurately label, prepare, and process specimens for laboratory testing.

Demonstrate strong phlebotomy skills , including pediatric and geriatric draws.

Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Maintain documentation, logs, and reports according to established standards.

Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and the public.

Exhibit flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed.

Required Experience :

Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience ; 1+ years preferred.

Experience providing customer service in a healthcare or retail setting.

Data entry and keyboard proficiency.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Experience in clinical laboratories or diagnostic centers.

Medical assistant or paramedic training background.

Required Skills :

Phlebotomy and specimen handling

Attention to detail and accuracy

Professional communication and patient care

Preferred Skills : Data entry accuracy

Customer service in a clinical setting

Organization and documentation management

Additional Skills :

Adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols

Adaptability to variable hours (Mon–Fri, 7 : 30 AM–12 : 30 PM)

Education & Certification :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).

Medical assistant or paramedic training a plus.

Working Conditions :

Standard onsite work hours : Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM–12 : 30 PM.

Location : 106 Main Street, Wareham, MA.

No hospital credentialing required.

Not eligible for remote work.
