Responsibilities

  • Perform various quality functions to ensure compliance and performance excellence with customer, supplier, and system requirements
  • Gather and maintain data, measure processes, perform analysis, and create action plans for continuous improvement or corrective action
  • Develops, maintain, and deploys quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities
  • Provide Quality interface and expertise between the organization, customers, and suppliers to proactively assure their needs and expectations are understood and satisfied. This includes the complaint management process and the implementation of the corresponding corrective / preventive actions
  • Perform contract reviews to identify customer quality requirements and prepare quality plans to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Develop, implement and audit of inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures / work instructions
  • Investigate and eliminate causes of quality problems and follow up on corrective actions
  • Provide technical support for both manufacturing and inspection personnel
  • Perform corrective action and root cause analysis and ensure compliance of certifications
  • Resolve non-conforming material issues and performs product, process, and system audits and verifies effectiveness of corrective actions that were taken
  • Communicate effectively with external and internal customers
