If this description speaks to you, continue reading about the opportunity of Maintenance Mechanic. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position located at St. John’s Home. 6 : 00am- 2 : 30pm Tuesday thru Saturday.

Position Summary : The maintenance mechanic will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to the facility and equipment therein, in accordance with applicable codes, manufacturer’s specifications and policies of St. John’s Home. Responsibilities include :

• Perform maintenance, monitoring, testing, refining, tuning and repair to the facility and any equipment within or utilized by the facility.
• Carry out preventative maintenance duties according to schedule.
• Keep daily records of work orders completed and / or duties performed to be submitted to mentor.
• Order part and materials and control inventory.
• Clear walks and parking areas of snow and ice, when needed.
• May be required to be on-call and / or respond to emergency situations during off hours.
• Assist with other duties as needed that support the core team to fulfill St. John’s mission, vision and values.
