• Schedule : Flexible scheduling; primarily 13-hour shifts (6a7p or 6p7a)

• Patient Demographics : Primarily adults (95%), with some pediatric cases (5%)
• Average Daily Volume / Census : Annual ED volume of approximately 29,000 visits
• Admissions & Rounding : Included as necessary for emergency transfers and stabilization
• Consults & Follow-Ups : Yes
• Case Mix / Clinical Focus Areas : Medical emergencies, cardiac events, STEMI, basic surgical and orthopedic emergencies FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
• Trauma Designation : Non-trauma center
• EMR System : Epic
• Specialty Backup : Ability to transfer high-acuity patients to trauma centers as needed
• Support Staff : 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) per shift
• Leadership & Reporting Structure : Reports to the Emergency Department Medical Director
• Reason for Opening : Provider turnover / vacancy CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE

Requirements : ABEM or AOBEM Board Certification required

Requirements : Competency in airway management, chest tube placement, and I&D procedures
