Assistant Director of Clinical Services

Our effective treatment services include intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 as well as therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. The Assistant Director collaborates with the Director of Clinical Services in all aspects of guiding and administrating the Therapy Services of the Residential and Group Home units. This is in addition to serving as therapist on assigned cases and Program Coordinator on assigned units. A special focus of the Assistant Director is gathering and submitting required data to DHR, DMH, and UHS. Another duty is supervision of Therapy Staff in the absence of the Director of Clinical Services.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Graduate from an approved college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field.
• Current license as a LMSW, LICSW, LPC, or ALC in the State of Alabama is required.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated excellence in counseling and social work
• Ability to manage clinical therapy programs and milieu
