We are hiring Lead Preschool & Early Preschool Teachers for our growing program!!
This is a position with 4 Ten hour shifts Monday through Friday. Day off TBD by Director. Must be able to work during the operating hours of 6 : 30am and 6 : 30pm.
Qualifications :
Must meet or exceed DHS Rule 3 requirements for Lead TeacherPreferred but not required : Associate's Degree in Elementary Education, Childhood Psychology, or Youth Ministry backgroundsTeam Player and Positive working relationship a mustFamiliar with Rule 3 Requirements and Developmentally Appropriate Activities for young childrenFirst Aid and CPR current - On site training availableFlexible schedulingPrevious teaching or assistant teaching position with a quality preschool or child care center is preferredMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.Responsibilities :
Supervises a classroom with another teacherAssist in implementing the daily lesson plans and classroom activitiesAccepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgroundsAssists and coordinates snacks, meals, nap time and bathroom activitiesProvides the children with verbal praises and acceptance while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behaviorMaintains the Primrose Schools professional attitude and work behaviorAttends all required staff meetings, workshops and / or school functions as determined by the DirectorObserves all rules and regulations of Primrose Schools and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of childrenMaintains professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the training manualAssists in other capacities, as determined by the DirectorFollows the schedule, as determined by the DirectorRelated Experience : Lead Teacher Child care or Day care, Assistant Teacher Child care or Daycare, Aide Childcare or Daycare, Substitute Teacher, Elementary Education Teacher or Instructor, Lead Preschool Teacher, Lead Prekindergarten Teacher, Pre-K, Infant Teacher, Toddler Teacher.
