Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Glenwood Springs, CO (81601) – Colorado healthcare jobs

Facility : Family Birth Place – Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 2 / 2025 – End : 3 / 3 / 2026)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour day shifts, rotating weekends, and call rotation (one 12-hour call shift every 6 weeks)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2160 - $2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Active Colorado RN license or compact nursing license eligible for Colorado

American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required)

STABLE certification (required)

Proof of flu vaccination (no exemptions)

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns in Labor & Delivery, OR, PACU, and postpartum units

Provide couplet care and support for infants 32 weeks and older

Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure patient-centered experiences

Assist with 60+ deliveries per month and adapt to high-volume periods

Participate in rotating weekend and call shifts as scheduled

Maintain compliance with all required certifications and hospital policies
