Inpatient Psychiatry – Northern Westchester Hospital

Northern Westchester Hospital  is seeking a Full Time Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist  to join the Behavioral Health Hospitalist team .

• Shifts are 9AM-5PM weekdays
• Moonlight shifts (8AM-5PM) available for Weekends and Holidays
• Emergency Department, Consultations and Medical / Surgical Services and Inpatient Psychiatry Unit coverage
• Benefits Eligible
• 1 hour North of Manhattan and only 5 minutes from Metro North Rail Station

Our 15-bed inpatient unit provides short term hospital care to evaluate and stabilize patients with acute psychiatric disorders. There is a strong focus on returning patients to normal functioning as soon as possible while rebuilding self-esteem and improving socialization.
