Interventional Lab Nurse Position

Location

Salem, VA

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift : 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM, with approximately 10 days of on-call duty per month after normal hours and weekends.

Job Description

The Interventional Lab Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care within the interventional lab and stress testing unit, collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in the interventional lab.
  • Ensure all equipment is ready for procedures and assist during interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations as needed.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current ACLS and BLS certification is required.
  • Prior experience in an interventional lab setting is preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid nursing license.
