A typical day at H&R Block as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means serving clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team. You'll build client relationships that grow stronger every year. To be successful, you should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, experience completing complex returns, and 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax. You should also have experience conducting virtual tax interviews, tax planning, audit support, sales, and marketing.

What you'll bring to the team includes conducting tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, generating business growth, increasing client retention, offering additional products and services, providing IRS support, mentoring and supporting teammates, and successfully completing the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment. You should also have experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax, completing individual returns, working in a fast-paced environment, and comfort working with virtual tools.
