Gas Service Technician I- Smithville

CenterPoint Energy is looking for a Gas Service Technician I to join our Texas Gas Team , located in Smithville, TX

You will have the ability to : Perform company field operations including manual labor and other duties necessary to accomplish the installation, repair, and maintenance of natural gas distribution facilities. Handle customer requests and represents the Company in the community.

Essential Functions

• Initiates gas service and performs leak investigations and repairs.
• Completes work order in system for documentation.
• Serves as First Responder in emergency situations.

Education Description

Requires a high school education or GED.

Experience

Requires no prior related work experience.
