What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for all individuals present at the location.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
  • Assignment may require working in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Assignment may require the ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
