About The Position

Job Title : Radiology Technologist

Profession : Radiology Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12H Day / Night Rotate

Hours per Shift : 3 - 12 hour shifts, or 2 10-hour shifts and 2 8-hour shifts

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in X-ray and CT

License : ARRT RT(R)

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• 2+ years of experience in X-ray
• Experience performing scans in an OR setting
• Active BLS
• Experience with c-arm cases

Description :

Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images.

Operates equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines.

Ensures the quality of images is satisfactory for clinical purposes.

Required to perform X-ray, CT, C-arm, and fluoro imaging.

Experience required in diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging.

C-arm experience is necessary.

Specific licensures and certifications include ARRT RT(R) and BLS.

ARRT CT certification is preferred but not required.

Expected to float to various units and departments.

Required to badge in and out at the facility.

All clinicians must be oriented in the department through X-ray equipment, C-arms, and CT before being scheduled alone.

Reviews policies, procedures, and modality-specific protocols.

Scrub color is gray.

Cancellation policy may apply.

Charting system used includes Epic.

No prior experience with this organization is acceptable if the end date of previous employment exceeds six months prior to submission date.

This position does not include call responsibilities.

Trauma level of the setting is classified as 3.

The care setting is acute.

This role is within the Allied division.
