General Cardiology Advance Practice Provider

The Cardiac & Vascular Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our General Cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an acute, critical care environment and a strong interest in cardiology or cardiac surgery. This position offers the unique opportunity to work alongside residents and Cardiology Fellows in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and manage patients across a variety of clinical environments, including inpatient units and general cardiology care settings
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and Cardiology Fellows to provide comprehensive patient care
• Rotate across different clinical sites within the healthcare system, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and settings
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including :

Weekday shifts : 7 : 00 am ‐ 5 : 30pm

Weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Qualified candidates must hold a national certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. A Florida license must be obtained by the time of hire.

This is a full‐time employed position offering a competitive compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience and training. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
