Pay Rate : $276 per hour

Type : Local long-term contract part-time (58 shifts per month)

Schedule : 10-hour shifts. Days swings or nights as needed.

Overview

AllMed Staffing seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to support the U.S. Military Health System at Nellis Air Force Base. You will provide advanced emergency care to active-duty personnel dependents and retirees.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care that meets U.S. Air Force and community standards.

Perform procedures : incision and drainage lumbar puncture pericardiocentesis thoracostomy.

Reduce dislocations and fractures.

Manage airways and perform procedural sedation.

Suture or staple simple and multilayered lacerations.

Perform emergency vaginal deliveries and stabilize newborns.

Interpret ECGs labs and imaging studies.

Respond to Code Blue events and lead resuscitation.

Coordinate with consulting specialists and transfer facilities.

Document encounters per MTF policies.

Attend clinical meetings as required.

Qualifications

MD or DO with accredited Emergency Medicine residency.

Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABEM or AOBEM.

Minimum 3 years post-residency experience.

Active unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory.

Current BLS ACLS and PALS from AHA or ARC.

Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain security clearance.

Occupational Health

Physical exam within the past year.

MMR and Varicella titers.

PPD or Quantiferon results or chest X-ray if positive.

Hepatitis B Tdap Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations with boosters.

Security

Government background investigation required before placement.
