How You Will Make An Impact
As a Senior Demand Planner, you will blend statistical forecasting with cross-functional consensus planning to create demand plans for a dynamic and growing business. You will own the demand planning process for your products and make an impact on key business decisions. Your role will be critical in enabling inventory optimization, the S&OP process, and improved vendor partnership.
What You Will Do
- Create and maintain 18-month statistical forecasts for a variety of apparel and hard goods
- Evaluate input data and forecast output to ensure accuracy and appropriate context
- Collaborate with sales, merchandising, marketing, finance, strategic planning, and supply chain teams to incorporate insights that transform the forecast into consensus demand plans
- Facilitate the Demand Review process to share plans and make adjustments based on cross-functional feedback
- Document and test forecast assumptions, searching for opportunities to improve accuracy
- Perform gap analysis versus finance and sales plans; investigate differences and develop recommendations to align
- Contribute to a variety of supply chain department projects as needed
- Share expertise with other planners, fostering skill development and improving outcomes
Qualifications
Knowledge of consensus demand planning concepts and statistical modelsAttention to detail and quality : rigorously check work for accuracyHighly proficient in MS ExcelAptitude to learn technical applications quickly. ERP and demand planning systems knowledge is a plusExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationAbility to build strong relationships and work effectively across diverse teamsStrong business acumen, customer-centric mindset, and a deep understanding of market dynamicsResilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentInnovative and creative thinking, with a passion for continuous improvement and driving operational excellenceEducation / Experience
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Science, etc.3+ years of experience in demand planning, working with a variety of products and distribution channelsParticipation and contribution in S&OP and Demand Review processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-makingProven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity, and lead change in a dynamic business environmentOur Values
