Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adult Inpatient Population Admissions : Required; 3-4 per night Procedures : Preferred but not required Vent management required Intubations preferred (Emergency Medicine EM available if needed) Code Response : NP / PA responds to codes and rapid responses (EM assists with codes and emergent procedures) Reason for Coverage : Supplemental EMR : Meditech Temp Privileges : Available once CVO process is completed Licensing and Certification : Must have an active Virginia (VA) license and DEA Must have a clean file (No malpractice, etc.) Rate : TBD Malpractice Insurance : Covered Licenses : Active VA State License and DEA Experience : Prior inpatient hospitalist experience preferred Procedures : Must indicate ability to perform procedures (if applicable) Provide night shift inpatient hospitalist coverage Perform patient admissions and rapid responses Collaborate with medical staff and support teams Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and care management Participate in hospital protocols and quality initiatives Perform procedures if applicable (vent management required; intubations preferred)
