Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all transportation operations within Anderson County, ensuring seamless service delivery across a six-day week.
• Develop and manage efficient route schedules that maximize timeliness and resource utilization.
• Supervise and mentor drivers, fostering a safety-oriented culture and ensuring adherence to all safety and transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records, service schedules, and departmental documentation.
• Coordinate staffing needs, including managing on-call coverage and ensuring adequate personnel are scheduled for all shifts.
• Implement and lead safety and accident prevention programs to promote a secure environment.
• Monitor key performance metrics such as on-time pickups and drop-offs, addressing any service gaps.
• Ensure compliance with all agency policies, state, and federal transportation regulations.
