Requirements

RN license (state of practice)

BLS (AHA)

Minimum 2 years RN experience

RN diploma required; ASN / BSN preferred

Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Role Overview

Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process

Delegate and lead licensed and ancillary staff

Educate patients and families based on individual needs

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team

Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational standards

Heavy lifting (50–100 lbs occasionally)

Routine exposure to clinical environments and potential biohazards

Direct patient care in areas with possible communicable disease exposure
