Food Shipping Specialist

At Potandon Produce, we're known for moving fresh food with care and precision-and now we're looking for someone who can help keep everything on track. We're hiring a full-time Food Shipping Specialist in American Falls, Idaho, to make sure our produce gets where it needs to go on time, every time.

FOOD SHIPPING SPECIALIST : PAY & BENEFITS

This full-time, onsite role pays $16 – $17 per hour with opportunities for overtime. Plus, we offer great benefits , including :

YOUR ROLE

As a Food Shipping Specialist, you will coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and freight companies to make sure our products move smoothly. You will prepare and verify shipping documents, from bills of lading and packing lists to customs paperwork, and you'll track shipments closely to confirm they arrive on schedule. Communication will be a big part of your day as you keep both internal departments and external vendors updated on shipping status and resolve any issues that arise. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of shipments, inventory, and returns. At times, you'll assist with receiving and inspecting incoming goods, address discrepancies, and help resolve customer concerns. By keeping operations efficient and organized, you'll ensure our produce continues to reach customers quickly and reliably.

Preferred :

YOUR HOURS AS A FOOD SHIPPING SPECIALIST

Your schedule will be steady and predictable : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM . During peak times, you'll have the chance to work some overtime or weekends.
