Oncology APRN - Full Time

Job Description

Responsible for providing health care to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling. Works collaboratively with a physician following established guidelines as required and within scope of practice.

Adheres to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and / or standards from other accrediting bodies, such as The Joint Commission, Rural Health, and Center for Medicare Services.

Required Experience

Minimum Education : Graduate of an approved advance practice nursing program

Work Experience : Previous oncology clinical nursing experience required

Required License / Certification / Registration : Current Kentucky or Multi-State License. Basic Life Support Certification. DEA license as required by department. Must be eligible for or board certified by the appropriate governing body
