Ascension Seton is seeking a dedicated professional for a role in the Women's Health Clinic. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm at the Medical Park Tower located at 1301 West 38th Street, Austin, Texas. Responsibilities include providing administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting. This includes greeting patients, checking them in and out, verifying demographic information, obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations, completing medical record release requests, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, entering and reviewing charges for patient procedures and services, collecting co-payments, and reconciling daily reports and deposits for accuracy. General office and clerical support is also required.
Requirements include a high school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job specific experience. Professional licensure or certification can be used in lieu of education or experience if applicable.
