We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator with strong concrete and masonry expertise to join our growing team. This individual will lead our estimating department, overseeing a small team of estimators while preparing competitive and accurate bids for a variety of projects. Our work includes high-end custom homes, commercial developments, and production housing throughout Florida.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 direct reports in all aspects of estimating.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete and masonry scopes as well as overall project pricing.

Review drawings, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate takeoffs and bid packages.

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to develop winning proposals.

Manage a pipeline of 30+ active bids and ensure deadlines are met.

Source subcontractor and supplier pricing and negotiate best value options.

Participate in client presentations and value engineering discussions when needed.

Qualifications

7+ years of estimating experience with a strong background in concrete and masonry.

Proven leadership experience managing an estimating team.

Project experience in the $500K–$12M range, with preference for larger-scale vertical construction.

Solid understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
